Granada's Cemetery: Where history comes alive
One of the most charming, elegant, and unforgettable places in New Orleans is its
famous cemetery. Used as a set by Peter Fonda in his classic film "Easy Rider"
and later in Roger Vadim's "Cat People", the above-ground tombs there became a
modern icon for filmgoers. In Nicaragua, however, one does not have to travel to New
Orleans to see this classic marble styling of tombs, but only make a trip to Granada to a
