| DIRIAMBA UNMASKS: Colorful tradition is kept alive by a young boy from the Meseta to the south of Managua at the Meeting of the Saints at the crossroads in Diriamba. The statues of the patron saints of the surrounding towns are brought together once a year amidst dancing and the singing of songs by local residents, punctuated by formidable barrages of fireworks.
